LUSH: Angels on Bare Skin Review

Of all seasons in a year, winter is really not my favourite. Born and mostly raised in the tropical country, I am so used to the sun and the heat. So when it comes to winter, I just feel like hiding in my nest, grow some hair (ewww…) and hibernate.

I have a combination facial skin type, that goes more to its dry side on winter, like reaaally dry. Worse than that, whenever the wind blows it stings!

And so I decided to buy Lush: Angel on Bare Skin Fresh Facial Cleanser. Simply because it says it’s improve the health and appearance of the skin and giving you a natural healthy glow.

That’s exactly what I need because the dryness took away my healthy looking face.

Believe it or not, even tough there were heaps of Lush employees that would tell me what to pick, but I managed to buy this one without anyone intervention. High five!

The texture were thick, and smells fresh herbs kind of thing, jeez I’m bad at describing thing. But take a look at the product:

So it says put a pinch off, add some water, then apply to your face. But I personally love it a thick soft composition because I can feel it scrubbing my face. IMG_9784

And here you can see the ingredients of the cleanser:

Lush products are always natural and fresh, you can see all the seeds inside of it. I think it’s more of a scrub, which is why I wouldn’t recommend using it daily for those who have sensitive skin- I actually use it twice a day in the shower and have no problem with it. But I don’t think this works well if you have acne, as the texture is quite rough.

RATE: 4/5

  • Pros:
  1. It’s softening (because again for me it’s more to a scrub)
  2. My skin feels hydrated and fresh
  3. I like the smells

  • Cons:
  1. Messy (because you have to mix water in it, too much it will waste, too little and it will feels too rough)
  2. Quite pricey
